Gary and Sharla Piercy, Lead Pastors

Gary & Sharla Piercy – Lead Pastors

Gary and Sharla founded NLC in January 2005. Their desire is to honor Jesus, equip God’s people, and experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Gary earned degrees in biblical languages and a Ph.D. in management. His preaching and teaching will equip and challenge you to live an abundant life in Christ.

Gary and Sharla have four married children and seven grandchildren.


Joel and Shayla Piercy, Young Adult Pastors

Joel & Shayla Piercy – Young Adult Pastors

Joel and Shayla are the leaders of The Common Table Ministry, which is a group that caters to young adults ages 18-30. This ministry focuses on discipleship through small groups to create a personal environment cultivating discipleship.

The goal of this intimate setting is to build relationships that change eternities. Equipping people to be disciples of Christ so they can go entrust the good news to faithful people who will also teach others. (2 Timothy 2:2)


Ryan and Kayce Goff, Youth Pastors

Ryan & Kayce Goff – Youth Pastors

Ryan and Kayce lead Ignite Youth Ministry. Ryan served as U.S. missionary to the college campus for seven years before stepping into this role as Youth Pastor. Ryan and Kayce bring their experience with discipleship as God’s method for reaching people.

Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm they host a worship service followed by a message or small group lesson to help youth grow in their walk with God and in their ability to invite others into the family of God.


Charles & Daisy Thompson, Children's Pastors

Charles & Daisy Thompson – Children’s Pastors

Charles and Daisy’s heart is to get kids excited about learning God’s Word. Mr. Charles – or “Mr. C” – brings an infectious enthusiasm with him every week, presenting the Word in a fun and engaging way.

Their goal is to help guide children in their journey of discovery and growth by providing epic opportunities for kids to encounter Jesus.

We Believe

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God (2 Tim 3:16, 2 Pt 1:19-20)
  • We believe God is one being revealing himself in three persons the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4, Matt 28:19, John 10:30, John 14:16-17)
  • We believe Jesus Christ died for all who accept Him as their Lord and Savior (Acts 2:21, Rom 10:13, 2 Cor 5:15)
  • We believe that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are saved (Luke 24:46-47, Eph 2:8, Eph 4:22-24)
  • We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4, 1 Cor 12:4-10)
  • We believe in divine healing (Is 53:4-5, Matt 8:16)

Missions

We believe it’s our duty to be a vessel for which God can use to bless those around us through our time and finances. NLC supports numerous missionaries stationed around the world and has the great opportunity to partner with other organizations:
