NEW HERE?
Thanks for choosing to visit NLC! Here’s some quick information to get you pointed in the right direction.
Arrival:
If you arrive before 10:15 am, we will have coffee waiting for you in the lobby. This is a great time to meet our pastor, Gary Piercy, visit with our friendly greeters, and register your children in the nursery and/or for Kid’s Church.
We have three buildings on campus:
Celebration Center Completed in 2023 and serves as our worship center, nursery, and toddler ministry. | Thanksgiving Hall Built in 2009 and serves youth ministy, young adults ministry, and as a fellowship hall. | Borden Chapel Built in the mid-1980s and serves our children’s ministry. |
Praise & Worship:
Praise and worship music starts at 10:30 AM and generally last 30 minutes. We are a spirit-filled, charismatic church so feel free to lift your hands, clap, and sing praise to the Lord! Contemporary praise and worship is common but occasionally we include a traditional hymn.
The Word:
Our Pastoral Staff brings The Word to us and are teachers at heart. Bring your Bible and get ready to learn with us!
Other Information:
- Casual attire. You will be comfortable in jeans or a suit. Our pastor and staff are generally dressed casually.
- Tithes and offerings. We receive tithes and offerings between Worship and The Word. Do not feel pressure to give if you are a guest. This is an opportunity for the members of NLC to continue the ministry.
- Altar calls and prayer. Sometimes we have an altar call or an opportunity for prayer during Worship or after service. If you would like prayer or have a need you would like us to pray with you about, please don’t let this opportunity pass.
- Communion. We share communion each month and we practice open communion at NLC. If you are a born-again believer, we invite you to join us in remembering what Jesus has done for us.
